Jerason Dean's self-titled LP released on May 12, 2023. The latest music in Dean's catalog is the first full-length studio project and is a follow-up to the duet EP he did with Cait Coulomb in 2021.
For his current work, Dean pulled influences from his roots in jazz music, rockabilly, and the big band sound he has been performing over the last decade. The debut album features eight new recordings, two of which are originals and covers of works touched by Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Adele, Peggy Lee, and other musical legends. The new LP also includes an ensemble of local Chicago performers and musicians, from tap dance to harmonica.
